The Myth of Simultaneity

I’ve had several virgins-till-they-married Mormons tell me that they were really frustrated sexually until they figured out that the attempt for simultaneous orgasm wasn’t worth it. Invariably one of the partners (usually the woman) gets frustrated. I suspect that the expectation of mutual O is because that’s the way it’s usually depicted by Hollywood and in romance novels.

IMO, it can pretty nice for couples to stagger their orgasms a bit so each partner gets the chance to take a turn at being in their favorite position or to be the center of attention.
