Wow, Steve EM. I don’t know if I’m envious of you, or grateful I’m not you. I remember having that kind of drive for daily, or even multiple times daily, during my teens and twenties. But such a sex drive can sometimes be overly preoccupying. With a reduced sex drive it seems like I can now get more done.

So three times a week for me is about perfect. Twice is not enough. Four times, maybe once in awhile, unless we’re on vacation, in which case daily is more the norm.

Like Steve EM mentions, everyone is different. For all my commenting on here, I’m not sure how productive one-a-day would be. I remember our first time trying to conceive when we had a daily appointment. It wasn’t fun. Of course, ejaculation was the singular goal. Maybe if the purpose was connecting as a couple it would be a different experience. That said, I can’t imagine any guy turning down his wife’s offer to make an attempt at the program, Jessawhy. I think a “frequency challenge” would be good for us, perhaps not daily. Just last night we had the “why don’t you touch me” talk. We’re going on five days and my wife still doesn’t realize that we keep drifting apart the longer we go without sex. Makes me feel like a needy, weak-minded animal, you know?

I suggested it to my husband, he didn’t think it was that great.
We’re about a twice a week couple.
So, that would be a tremendous speed up for us. (unlike the previous commenter)
But, hey, if it works for you, more power to ya.

Happy Independence Day!

I really don’t get this everyday thing given the age related component and that we age at different rates. For some even once a day isn’t enough, especially the young. In my teens and twenties (when in a relationship), two to three times a day was the norm, sometimes more. I was multi orgasmic and would often get headaches if I wasn’t getting enough. That carried into marriage. In my thirties I stopped getting headaches but still wanted it at least twice per day. In my forties, I was a normal single shot guy but wanted it once-twice a day, and that still holds at age 50.

I other words, I think if such a frequency challenge is needed, it should set to what the couple thinks would spice up their marriage.
