Well, I only read the first one and have to say horse feathers! The gal’s hubby was a raging sociopath homicidal lunatic, and she focuses on porn use! Granted the use was extreme by her account, but the tone of her post was like: if only he hadn’t brought that filthy habit into our marriage and gotten hooked on those dirty pictures instead of enjoying me………… Hey, I’m glad she survived the attempted murder and the nut job is in jail, but that post was lame.

Steve is right, the postings aren’t about pornography but about psychotic husbands who happen to use view pornography. He threatened to kill himself over biscuits and she thinks looking at naked pictures is the problem? Good Lord, is that messed up.
The comments are basically the rantings of sexually repressed women who treat their husbands like perverts and then whine when their husbands take them up on the offer.

I don’t get it. By the title, Feminist Mormon Housewives is about and for liberated, confident women. Instead, it seems to be a bunch of whiny molly-Mormons with no self-esteem. Is this seriously what passes for Mormon Feminism?

In her defense, she did point out that it was an extreme example, although I agree that it seems the disease is being overlooked in favor of a symptom and in more than a few comments.

fMh isn’t the only feminist Mormon website.
There are many others. The Exponent recently published on pornography, and Zelophehad’s Daughters are super smart and usually deal with deep doctrinal issues.
I’ll agree that Sare’s story is crazy and it should be under the title: “Guess this mental illness” not pornography.
